Description: The Legislative Symposium on Drugged Driving is intended to provide background information on this urgent public safety and public health issue. Right now, New York is one of only 4 states that prohibits the prosecution of dangerously impaired drivers unless the substance impairing them is on a statutory list. That means drivers can legally drive while impaired by things like xylazene, nitazenes, propofol, Dust-Off, nitrous oxides and more. Critical information will be explained and myths dispelled.
