(SUFFOLK COUNTY, N.Y.) – Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney today announced that Victor Panebianco, 32, and Kacy Corso, 33, both of King, North Carolina, were indicted for Murder in the Second Degree for the stabbing and killing of Corso’s ex-boyfriend, Christopher Millwater, 52, of Selden, at the Stony Brook Yacht Club earlier this month.
“Today’s indictment reflects our unwavering commitment to seeking justice for victims of violent crime,” said District Attorney Tierney. “The allegations contained in the indictment point to a deliberate and coordinated act of violence. We extend our deepest condolences to the victim’s family and remain dedicated to ensuring accountability for this tragic and senseless loss of life.”
According to the investigation, on November 10, 2025, at approximately 3:42 a.m., Suffolk County Police received a 911 call from a fisherman reporting an unconscious male on the ground in the parking lot of the Stony Brook Yacht Club. Police and EMS responded to the scene where they discovered Millwater with two stab wounds to the chest. He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The subsequent police investigation, which included witness interviews and the review of video and audio surveillance, revealed the following allegations. Shortly after Corso drove into the parking lot at the yacht club, Millwater pulled in and parked next to her. After Corso then positioned her car in front of Millwater’s car, Panebianco allegedly exited the passenger side of Corso’s car and approached Millwater’s car. Millwater drove around Corso’s car, and towards the exit of the parking lot. Corso then allegedly drove her car into his vehicle. After the crash, Millwater exited his car and ran from the scene. Panebianco chased after him, swinging an object. Millwater asked Panebianco, “You’re stabbing me?” and screamed for help and the police.
Video then shows Panebianco caught up to Millwater, and while Millwater was on the ground, Panebianco allegedly threatened to kill him and yelled at him to stay away from Corso. Corso can also be heard yelling at Millwater. As Millwater lay motionless on the ground, Panebianco allegedly kicked Millwater in the head. Panebianco then got back into Corso’s car and she drove off.
Cellular telephone records were obtained for Panebianco and Corso’s phones. Those records revealed that Panebianco and Corso allegedly arrived on Long Island from out of state less than an hour and a half before the murder and fled New York after allegedly killing Millwater.
On November 19, 2025, Panebianco was arrested in North Carolina with the help of the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina. Corso, who had returned to Suffolk County, was arrested by the Suffolk County Police Department.
On December 3, 2025, Corso was arraigned on the indictment before Supreme Court Justice Timothy P. Mazzei for Murder in the Second Degree, a Class A felony, and Hindering Prosecution in the First Degree, a Class D felony.
On December 9, 2025, Panebianco was arraigned on the indictment before Justice Timothy P. Mazzei for Murder in the Second Degree, a Class A felony.
