(SUFFOLK COUNTY, N.Y.) – Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney today announced that DAVID SUSALLA, SEAN SANTANIELLO, JAHSIAH TRICOCHE, JAYDEN DEJESUS and DANIEL MONTOYA, were indicted for Robbery in the First Degree, and related charges, for the alleged armed carjacking of a man and woman in the parking lot of the Ronkonkoma Long Island Railroad station in August of this year.
“Violence such as this, where these defendants allegedly targeted two unsuspecting victims at a train station, has no place in society and will not be tolerated in Suffolk County,” said District Attorney Tierney. “Anyone who commits such violence in Suffolk can expect a full-scale investigation and to be brought to justice.”
According to the investigation, at about 1:28 a.m. on August 17, 2025, SUSALLA, SANTANIELLO, TRICOCHE, DEJESUS and MONTOYA allegedly travelled eastbound on the Long Island Railroad from the Brentwood train station to the Ronkonkoma train station. Once at the Ronkonkoma train station, the defendants headed to the southwest corner of the parking lot where they allegedly targeted a parked white 2018 Mercedes Benz CLA sedan occupied by a man and a woman.
Two of the defendants approached the vehicle and allegedly displayed handguns and pointed one of the guns at the man’s forehead, threatening to kill him. The defendants allegedly forced both victims out of the vehicle at gunpoint.
During the commission of the crime, the defendants allegedly stole a wallet and its contents from the male victim and approximately $500 from the wallet of the female victim.
The defendants then allegedly entered the Mercedes and sped out of the parking lot, heading westbound from Ronkonkoma through Brentwood, Central Islip and eventually into New York City. The defendants allegedly drove around and possessed the stolen vehicle for approximately nine days before it was recovered abandoned in Bay Shore on August 27, 2025.
Following the robbery, members of the Suffolk County Police Department and Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office conducted an extensive investigation and on October 15, 2025, the five defendants were taken into custody.
